Bad Luck????

Since my father's passing, my boyfriend and I are having a string of bad luck. (his death is one of the bad things that has happened to us in the last two months)
The first happened on our way to Mexico. I went to log in to check the flight status and it said I had to call the airline. I called the airline and they told me my return flight home was cancelled and that they moved my flight to the next day. I explained to them that I needed to get home on the day that I booked my flight and was told that there was no flights. I asked to speak with a manager and I was "disconnected" I called back. This time i was told it was cancelled due to mechinical reasons, which means they knew over two weeks in advace that the plane was going to break down!?!?!?!?!?!?!, I was also disconnected. Finally a nice woman got me back on a flight on sunday like I booked, but no one would let me talk to a higher up, to get my situation resolved and explained. They said I had to email them. Which I did. Three days later I got an email saying they were forwarding my email to the american side of the company and I would hear from them in 6-8 weeks. Nice.
On the way back, one of our bags was destroyed. The metal in the suitcase was broken and bent into pieces. Things were broken, clothes were ruined. Lotion bottles destroyed. All of the people we spoke to at the airport told us there was nothing they could do and we had to talk to the airline. We goto the airlines desk and no one is there. Security tries to call them, nothing. I call the 1800 number for them. They tell me I have to talk to the people in Chicago and transfer me, no one answers. They give me the number, no one answer, and still no one will help me. Needless to say I will never fly aeromexico again. I am still waiting to here back from them so hopefully the customer service they have been lacking will be made up for.
Next We got a flat tire the day after we got home. We do not have a spare. Stopped at a gas station and filled it with this stuff, then to pep boys for five hours to replace it.
Then the heat breaks at 420 in the morning. Not a good thing. It sounds like the house is going to explode. We turn the heat off, and call the tenants to let them know. the heating repair guy comes but can't fix it until the next day. Which is today, so hopefully it will be fixed tonight when I get home from work.
Our electricity has been turning on and off because of all the space heaters that are on in the building. No fun at all. Hopefully things will get better!
