MIlwaukee. We had fun

We had so much fun this past saturday and sunday. We, and by we I mean I decided since Oscar had the weekend off, that we should go away. So we pricelined a hotel and dropped the dog off, and away we went.
As soon as we arrived we drove straight through to the Lakefront Brewery, to go on a tour. It was so much fun. For 6 dollars you get 24 ounces of beer, a tour, a pint glass, and a whole lot of fun. We then preceded to find our hotel, which funny enough ended up a Hilton. We then went for a walk in the rain, took a nap, and then decided on a place for dinner.
We decided to goto a place called Swig. It was very cool. The walls were made of wood but it was like in pieces and some were sticking out real far and others not. They were all different sizes. It was neat. Dinner was good as well. We had three small plates. We had asiago and artichoke dip, cajun chicken skewers, and hummus and pita. It was all very yummy. We then had a chocolate cookie cake with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert.
On sunday we went to the public market, where I had cheese curds for the first time. It was good. It just tasted like cheese tho. We bought some cheese curds, crackers, and cheese spread. We also had custard for breakfast, I had blue moon, and called Joe to brag. We also bought pig ears for Auddy. Spices for us. They mixed spices together to form different seasonings we got three, plus pink sea salt. Just cause I wanted pink salt. We also bought some chocolates. It was fun.
We then went to the restaurant next door for brunch. The best part of the brunch(well i didn't like the taste of it, but it was cool) was the bloody mary. It came with a whole lot of garnishes. There was a pickle, mushroom, olive, meat stick, and a shrimp(I left this part off) and the these strands of mozzerlla that filled the top of the cup. It was so funny. It also came with a shooter of beer. (Pictures to come)
We then went to Discovery World, which is kinda like COSI. Except that a lot of the exhibits were not fully put together or else just not working, so that was kind of a let down. But I did get to pet a sting ray and some other long big fish thing, so that was fun.
All in all we are planning to go back in the summer, and hopefully it won't be raining, so we can walk around more.
